I've always loved playing around with my handwriting and learning new ways to write letters and words. And, it's no surprise that hand lettering and calligraphy are still all the rage. I'd love to hone my lettering skills and learn calligraphy and this starter kit seems like the best way to do it.
You can never go wrong with leopard -- after all it's considered a neutral these days. I have a pair of leopard flats but they're about worn out. I'd love to add these Leoffler Randall beauties to my closet.
Since our new house is all wood floors, we are in need of a few more rugs. I'm thinking this jute rug would be perfect for the dining room. We'll be using the dining room on the reg (since we don't have an eat-in kitchen), so a jute rug would be the perfect casualizer (is that a word) of a usually formal space.
I'm not exactly sure how I stumbled upon Nicola's jewelry, but wow, I'm glad I did! Her earrings and necklaces speak to me with their unique shapes and use of beads. You must check her out.
Back in the fall, after having a major reaction to Rodan and Fields' skincare (bummer, I know), I was desperate to find a good skincare regimen that didn't cost an arm and a leg. And, I'm generally wary of magazine recommendations. I mean, are those honest reviews or are they tied to kickbacks? Anyway, I think I googled "unbiased skin care reviews" and found the Paula's Choice site. They review most every skincare line you can think of. And! Paula herself has put together several skin care lines. I've been using the Resist Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator and I really do love it. I need to bite the bullet and buy the whole system. Maybe in February.
You can never have too many black pumps. And these have a little something special with that chunky lucite heel. Plus the under $60 price tag makes them that much more desirable.
I never really set out to grow out my hair, but I just don't make it to the salon very often. Thus, my hair is getting super long. And, these cold, staticky winter months are making me long for shorter locks. So, if I'm going to chop it all off, my hair might as well go toward a good cause. And, I don't think there's a better cause than making wigs for cancer patients.
When I saw that Darci had gotten her awesome wicker bar stools for her stunning new house, I went nutso looking for counter stools for our breakfast bar. We don't need them rightthismoment, but when I found these stools by Safavieh, I've had them on my radar for whenever we get around to getting our dining room exactly how we want it.
